Living in a world full of pain
with people smiling in you face everyday
The issues, problems arise every few days
trying to let it go
But I can't

What is there to do now
no matter what I do
I can't stop the rain
Her pretty brown eyes face full of tears
she comes to me
wanting me to stop the pain

I grab her closer to me
laid her head softly on my shoulder
Speaking the words "everything will be okay"
softly in her ear

I had no other choice
but to try to make her feel better
I held her close and we kissed
That night was the beginning of our fairy tale
life with her was great

Things couldn't have been better
as time passed
problems began to raise again
I hated making her cry
