Waiting for You

As Dark as the night
I sit alone in an atomic room
Waiting patiently for that
smell of perfume

I stare at the door constantly
wondering where did she go
what day did she leave and
when did lose her sunny glow

The fireplace hasn't been fired up
Cold air found it's way in the room
hands, toes, and arms where numb
and I felt like I was near my doom

The phone has not rung in days
No one cares about me at all
My life is pointless and now
I will just take the fall

She needs to come back to me
I miss her warm sense of touch
I can't bare to live another month
I love her so much

I think she's coming back in time
She will make me the happiest man alive
So please summer
Hurry up and arrive
