My Last Summer

My last summer was interesting
but different for the others
It came faster then I thought
and left without a goodbye kiss or hug
First day of summer
The days were relaxing and peaceful
Sun rise shined brightly everyday
which kept a smile on my face
I couldn't of been more happier
Vacation was just around the corner
All the plans in my head of doing the impossible
made me want to do it all
So I did
Traveled miles and miles away from my confront zone
Just to feel the breeze and warmth from the summer climate
Life was good
New experiences brought me closer to loving life itself
Time flew by
the days of happiness where coming to an end
I left my mark on my last day
heading back to the real world to grow
Then came the rainy days
Clouds turned more grayer
as the summer time declined
I saw a different type of patterns in the clouds
Things became more darker, colder, and dull
I couldn't stop the rain from falling
So I waited
Waited to see the sun shine high in the blue sky's
but it didn't
Then came a hurricane
high winds and rain flooded the roads
Which way to go from here
Damage struck like a head on collision
this made me realize it was over
My summer time is gone for good
I can't lie
It was good while it lasted
But till the next summer time comes around
That was my last summer
